Description: Large shrub with spreading branches.Petiolate, alternate leaves with sharp spines.Elliptic leaf lamina.Flower appear single.Flower petals are creamy/white with distinct red veins. Stamen are white turn to almost radiating, pink/red when mature.Many stamen bursting outward, a typical Capparaceae family character. Flower has a gynophore: stack that supports gynoecium (ovule producing part of the flower, turns into fruit), elevating it above the branching points of other floral parts. Can be seen very clearly protruding out, among many stamens.Fruits are round, green turn red when ripe.
